During the project "Education Development" at Rundale kindergarden "Marpukite" in the end of 2010 and beginning this year there were three workshops in which participated Masrpukite and other neighboring county education offices teachers fromPakruojis municipal pre-school education.

In the first period to the kindergarden "Marpukite" teachers were given the opportunity to participate in summer camps and seminars to enhance health. Seminars were organized in Pakruojis by a lead partner. During the seminar to the Lithuanian and Latvian traditions, led a seminar by Bauska Regional Museum of History and Head of the Department Aigars over seventy. Seminar participants performed Bauska group "Astra"  - sing Lithuanian folk songs, try the traditional dance steps,as well as heard Latvian Lithuanian life stories, experiences and traditions.

The project "Creating of Cooperation System between Preschool Educational Institutions on Lithuania-Latvia Border" (Preschool Education) implemented in cooperation with Pakruojis District Municipality (Lead Partner), Council of Rundale Local Municipality and Public Institution "Šiauliai Region Development Agency".

In 2010 on 30^th of November in Pakruojis kindergarden Azuoliukas took place the project "Creating of Cooperation System between Preschool Educational Institutions on Lithuania-Latvia Border" No. LLII-093 working group meeting. The meeting was attended by representative of project partners Pakruojis Municipalities Zeimelis kindergarden Azuoliukas, Šiauliai Region Development Agency, the Municipality of Rundāle (Latvia) and Childrens' Markpukite(Latvia).

Lithuanian and Latvian people living in cross border regions for many years ago closely interactedand and cooperated, while preserving their national identity. The growth of this century, the younger generation - new hope for both sides, the friendly people contacts, unique traditions and customs will be preserved and enriched with valuable experience of neighboring countries and mutual respect. Frot that are confident and project "Creating of Cooperation System between Preschool Educational Institutions on Lithuania-Latvia Border" partners - Pakruojis District Municipality, Rundale Parish Council and Public Institution Siauliai Redion Development Agency.
